INTERIM RELIEF AGAINST ANY ORDER IMPOSING ANTI-DUMPING DUTY ON PSF IMPORTS FROM CHINA
Dear Sir,
APTMA and some Member Mills filed a writ petition in the Rawalpindi Bench of the Lahore High Court in which interim relief against any order imposing Anti-Dumping Duty on PSF imports from China has been secured.
On account of opposition and strong arm tactics against petitioners in the case, it has been decided to launch a broad based contest for securing the interests of PSF using Member Mills as well as prospective PSF user Members. For this purpose the Synthetics Committee requests all concerned Member Mills to contribute Rs.25,000- by cheque to APTMA, Lahore preferably by Friday, 1st April 2011.

ESTABLISHMENT OF FPCCI POLICE LIAISON CELL AT FEDERATION HOUSE KARACHI
It is informed to all businessmen community that recently an officer of the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police has been posed as liaison officer to the FPCCI. He has since joined his duty in Federation House. It was a long over due requirement of the FPCCI to establish an emergency police cell headed by a DSP to entertain complaints of the business community with regard to the crime in their areas of activities so that prompt action could be taken to redress the complaints of business community.
The cell has been established in B-1 Floor of Federation House. Necessary details are as under:-
