Dear Sir(s),

We are pleased to inform that with the strenuous efforts of Chairman - APTMA and his team and further vigorous follow-up / meetings with the authorities, Ministry of Finance, Economic Affairs, Statistics, and Revenue, Revenue Division, Government of Pakistan has issued a Sales Tax Notification No. S.R.O. (I)/2011 dated 1^st August 2011 (copy attached) relating to exemption of Sales Tax on the import of plant and machinery not manufactured locally and having no compatible local substitutes.
