FACTORS HINDERING PAKISTAN’S REGIONAL TRADE SPECIALLY WITH INDIA

FACTORS HINDERING PAKISTAN’S REGIONAL TRADE SPECIALLY WITH INDIA

You are aware that despite the fact that Pakistan has all the potential to exploit the Indian market our exports could not gain a major share in bilateral trade mainly due to the non-tariff barriers. In order to promote bilateral trade and economic relations the non tariff barriers need to be removed. However before we talk of the removal of non-tariff barriers it is essential that they are identified in the first place.

You are therefore, requested to kindly send your suggestions/proposals on “The Factors Hindering Pakistan’s Regional Trade Specially With India with special reference to NTBs”. It would be appreciated if real-life examples/incidents could be mentioned with facts, in your response, so that they could be taken up with the concerned authorities at an appropriate time.

We will appreciate if your response is sent by 20th December, 2010.

Regards.

Yours sincerely,

(SYED MASOOD ALAM RIZVI)
